Best cruise line for young people?

I am 25 yrs old and I am thinking about taking a cruise for the summer, but I don’t want to be stuck playing shuffleboard with old people all day. What is the best cruise/cruise line to take to be with people closer to my age? I am thinking about somewhere in the Caribbean.

Carnival or Royal Caribbean are going to have the most activities in that age group. Carnival is going to be cheaper than Royal Caribbean most of the time. Either one is going to be a great time. Most cuises have a singles night near the begining for people to meet, so go to that if you are looking to find someone to hang out with.

I recomend you to go on Royal Caribbean. Make sure you go on a Voyager or Freedom class ship. This ships have everything you need to have fun: rock climbing wall, surfing simulator (freedom class), rollerblade rink, minigolf, ice skating rink, full size basketball court, more than three swimming pools, huge gym, many bars and night clubs. I think you will not get bored on these ships. There is plenty to do and you will meet many guys your age. You can take southern Caribbean cruises from San Juan or western Caribbean cruises from Miami.

Carnival is more of a party ship…there is a lot more drinking and people drunk, and even overboard…this cruise line has the most people overboard over any other cruise line…the food is just average, the entertainment is okay, and the ports of call not the best that I have ever seen…it is much more packed than other cruise line….it holds the same amount as others, but isn’t as much to do on board…it is good for singles, but not really with kids because there are areas that should be for adults only, such as the nude areas, but kids can just walk right in…not such a great thing in my opinion…now price wise it is a bit overpriced for service that isn’t so great…meaning you pay for things you don’t get.
